Who's it for?
Drivers who love iconic Jeep models like the Wrangler but who want extra towing capacity and a highly capable off-road SUV will love the Gladiator. The Jeep Gladiator is well-suited for off-road use and offers all the benefits of a pickup truck while still delivering the classic Jeep architecture and perks like removable doors. Drivers will conquer the trails just as easily as they will city streets in the Jeep Gladiator and will get to choose from ten different models.
Drive and Handling
The Jeep Gladiator houses a 3.6-liter V-6 with 285 horsepower and 260 lb. ft. of torque. The eight-speed automatic transmission is now the only transmission available, doing away with the six-speed manual that was offered in 2024. The Jeep reaches 0 to 60 in 7.2 seconds, which puts it in line with other vehicles in its class. Drivers may also upgrade to the diesel 3.0-liter V-6, which also reaches 260 horsepower but delivers an impressive 442 lb. ft. of torque.
The maximum towing capacity for a well-equipped Jeep Gladiator is 7,650 pounds. Drivers who don’t need that exceptional towing option can still tow up to a 4,000-pound trailer on the base model. The bed of the Jeep Gladiator can carry anywhere from 1,105 to 1,700 pounds.
The real versatility comes from the Gladiator's incredible off-road technology. Of course, the legendary 4x4 system allows this truck to go almost anywhere. With up to 31.5 inches of water fording, 11.1 inches of ground clearance, high articulation suspension, and optimized maneuverability, the Gladiator is unstoppable. With additional features like locking differentials, sway bar disconnect, rock rails, tow hooks, a TrailCam off-road camera, Dana 44™ solid axles, and steel skid plates, this truck was built for adventure.
