They say you shouldn’t mess with perfection, but RAM decided to do it anyway. Now, the 6.4-liter HEMI® V8 comes standard in the RAM 2500 and offers up to 410 horsepower and 429 pound-feet of torque. This engine is strapped to a TorqueFlite 8-speed transmission for optimal gearing and smooth shifting that eases up fuel consumption. For more grunt when you need it, the legendary 6.7-liter Cummins Turbo Diesel produces 370 horsepower and 850 pound-feet of torque, helping you tow more and bring in even heavier payloads. Paired with a six-speed automatic transmission, this powerful combo is perfect for getting the job done.

Contrasting the harsh suspension of most heavy-duty trucks, the 2020 RAM 2500 features a unique Frequency Response Damping system that adjusts to the vertical wheel input. The result is handling akin to a sports car, but fully capable of tackling tough terrain.
